Why Do Homeopaths Ask SO MANY Questions?

by diane the homeopath | Beginners, General

I had a case recently that is a great example of why homeopaths ask so many questions.  We don't want to miss any important information.

As Sherlock Holmes once said:
That which seemingly confuses the case is the very thing that furnishes the clue to its solution.

In this case, a client, with a history of asthma, was very concerned about her cold going to her chest which was already starting to feel tight. I gave a remedy with that focus and her chest cleared up. But still she was sick.

I gave a couple more remedies focusing on what appeared to the most important thing. Each one helped the thing it was aimed at but still she was sick.

Eventually, I paid attention the detail of her inflammed finger. She had suffered a minor burn a couple of weeks back.

I gave a remedy for burns that are not healing well & everything quickly resolved.
